BLACK BUSINESS

HIGHLIGHT OF THE WEEK

Katie owns Good Books with her mother, Katherine. The duo started the online and pop-up bookstore to celebrate Blackness and to expose more people to authors and stories they may not have heard of before. A unique aspect of Good Books is their custom curations. Customers can let Katie know their bookish interests and budget, and Katie will curate a selection of books especially for them. In addition to sharing books on their website and social media, Good Books hosts a book club where folks can come together and discuss different topics found in literature, including abolition and anti-racism.
